The Crescent Moon Dance Company

The Crescent Moon Dance Company, whose motto is "Education through Entertainment", was established in 1990 to promote and celebrate the many rich, diverse and ancient cultures of the Middle East and Central Asia through their dances.

The Company's repertoire includes folk dances from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Persia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Azerbaijan.

The Crescent Moon Dancers are based in Louisville, Kentucky and are available to perform for ethnic festivals, school programs, international banquets, and other multicultural and educational events.
